World Book Day 2014 competition winners

Congratulations to the winners and runners-up in the recent World Book Day Competitions. Thank you to everyone who entered.

 

                                                  

 

World Book Day - 6th March 2014

To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 6^th March, the Learning Hub is running 4 competitions with great prizes:

1. Tweet a review of a book you have read. Tweet must be to @uptonlearnhub and include the name of the book. A challenge to be very concise!

Prize = £10 Amazon Voucher

2. Write a captivating opening paragraph to a book, no more than 250 words. It should hook the reader into reading the rest of the book.
Prize = £15 Amazon Voucher

3. Create a short video trailer/advert for a favourite book, no more than 60 seconds in length. Sell your favourite book in a creative way!

Prize = £20 Amazon Voucher

4. Redesign a favourite book cover, using any medium e.g. pencil, paint, photo, digital design, etc. Maximum A5 size. Get arty and creative.

Prize = £20 Amazon Voucher

Closing date for all competitions is Monday 17^th March.
