There is currently a display of new books
on a variety of Mathematical related subjects in the Learning Hub. If numbers
are your thing, and you like a puzzle, theorem, code or equation, come and borrow
one of these new titles. These books have been recommended by Mrs. Christianson
and she has provided a summary for each book, and suggested which year groups
they are suitable for. There is something for everyone, from Year 7 to 13. Titles
include: “Professor Stewart’s cabinet of mathematical curiosities”; “The Music
of the primes”; “Alex’s adventures in numberland”; “The Code book”; and
“Murderous maths”.
